An Nvidia Vanta 8MB PCI card works with the Jul31
colorForth. It seems likely that a chipset that is used for both AGP and PCI
versions will work. The 'older generation' of PCI only cards (typically those
with less than 8MB) will require individual tinkering, it seems.
Chuck points out that my S3 ViRGE patch
should be applied to code that still does the probing for memory; indeed that
works correctly.
