Well, what if you asked people on this list, rather than comp.lang.forth ?
ColorForth is an evolution of Forth by its original author. The philosophy
behind is certainly difficult to understand, but it deserves attention, too.
As for its "failure", in a very short timespan, it has attracted many people
who are willing to explore it, so it is far from being a failure.

Now if being interested in ColorForth is being "closed-minded", ok, let's
be "closed-minded" and happy with it.
