[colorforth] Question about displaying text

On 26/12/06 John Drake asked:

"How can
I get ColorForth to differentiate between
short words like "hello" that get packed
into a single 32 bit word and longer words
like "bookends" that take 2 32 bit words?

Clearly the editor knows how to do this
because it displays "bookends" just fine.

Regards,

John M. Drake " Nick here: I can't help, but I note that Howerd Oakford's editor (see his CF for DOS) has no difficulty in "unpacking" Chuck's original CF ie, listing the whole of it with an ASCII translation at the side. Howerd also gives an ASCII translation table. How is that done? (Topic for an advanced chapter on the editor, perhaps).
Regards,

Nick Maroudas
