These are pattern, not munbers below:

Oops, the answer should be the _number_ 00000, so the pattern has to
be AAAAA
In this case, since we are not dealing with the hardware representation at
the bus level, I think that the notion of patterns doesn't help in explaining
the operations above. Thinking at the number level is adequate and does
the trick.
