I have just received digest 78 and haven't recieved 79 yet, but there 
appears to have been some monumental stuff up, my appologise if I have some 
how accidentally done something to offended anybody (though I don't know if 
I have yet).  I'm sorting it out via email.

About my post in digest 78.  The theme was, congragulations Dr Ting (I have 
been pessimistic in the past about the p20).  I talked to Chuck in 1988 not 
1998, and he was talking about a 20-bit design then and I suggested that 
24-bit might be more usefull (for interfacing issues, memory ussage, and 
address space), he went for 32-bits (and if it had kept up with the speed 
increases of other simularly complex 32-bit designs (at low power 
cosumption) I would probably be using it).  Some compression stuff I forgot 
to share with Jeff some time ago but helpfull for his efforts (and some high 
compression routines not requiring hardware).  The 3D stuff about connecting 
a misc to 3D chip with embedded memory (bank switching to get above 2.5MB), 
and a bit of frustration (but not about Jeff, DR Ting, or Chuck), just the 
wider world.

Thanks but, I allready know.  By the way I count 4 pins that could have been 
used sram, i/o, video, and 14M.  But they weren't.  I didn't say that it 
would be the same system, it would loose some functionality.
