I have come accross an article in the Australian Personal Computer about the
Micro-Unity processor, backed by some really big names in the business. I
mentioned them before but the article, around 1996, brought back some extra
information.
Specs:
10 Million transistors
Designed by ex Intel engineers with a process that puts the transistors
closer together.
0.5 Micron process
1 Ghz
Multriple processors
Able to run Unix OS.
Why it has been sat on for so long, I don't know (suppose I should read
their web sit www.microunity.com).
Interesting speed comparison with Misc.
