Speaking of which... You can turn your Windows file system into a
colorforth projects file system, or closer to one by doing the
following:

Put cf2.exe on the path. Most of us should know how to do this. If you
don't, I can help there. Put it on the global path and then...

Associate the extention ".cf" with the cf2.exe file. You can right
click on the OkadWork.cf file and then choose "OPEN-WITH" "CHOOSE
PROGRAM" BROWSE and then find your cf2.exe file and before OK be sure
to click the checkbox for "Always use this file" or how ever it is
stated there.

Now, you can have File Folders with the name of the particular project
you are working on. Of course the working file in that folder will be
still named OkadWork.cf.
Using the global cf2.exe means you can just click on this or actually
any .cf file in the folder because the default action will always be
to open OkadWork.cf.

Something else to note. You can make shortcuts of the individual
OkadWork.cf files in each project folder, but you might like to put a
shortcut to the file on your desktop. With a shortcut on the desk top
you can edit the shortcut to include a keyboard shortcut.

This makes starting the working project file blazingly fast and with
the shortcut you can also right click it, choose properties and then a
ALT-F will open that folder faster then navigating to find it.

With several projects and several shortcut/keyshorts, its easy to move
from one application to another. Heck, you might like to do this for
individual Windows helper aps that you might not necessarily use in
native mode.

I recall haveing to do this the first time that I ran '05. I recall as
well adjusting green. It would start on my old monitor much too dark
even to see, until the monitor warmed up.

There seems to me to be another place in the kernel where the display is sized.

When you changed to 0x4117 vesa you may have also had to contend with
sizing the screen as well. As I recall, there is a different sizing
for Windows ( longer screen ) then in the native.

We still don't have a good picture of the kernel at this point.

 Much fun to you.
